This blog was created to spread awareness of soldiers that become POW's, also
known as prisoners of war. It is to show my respects, and make known the trials
and tribulations that these soldiers endure during times of war. It is also to
show the sacrifices that soldiers make everyday to ensure that we keep our
freedom. POW's are a sad and scary reality, and deserve some support! I look
forward to posts sharing stories or just thoughts in general to show support for
our soldiers!! Thanks!

I couldn't even begin to imagine what it would be like to be a prisoner of war. I hate when I'm sick and have to stay indoors for more than twenty four hours let alone in a confined space for months. I never really gave POWs any thought until I started reading your stuff. It is unfortunate that this happens still today.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I just got over the flu..and i had to lay in bed for like 3 days, I thought it was torture. It is sad that we consider things like that torture, when there are obviously far worse things out there. It was crazy to me how good Gerald Coffees outlook on his capture was. He is such a positive person, made me really re think things that I consider hard or problems. It really puts them into perspective.
